Knows What You’re Trying to Say Even When You Don’t
As an insatiable lover of the written word, Megan has been relentlessly courting knowledge since first mastering the alphabet. Growing up in rural Newfoundland encouraged her eclectic taste in reading material and as a result, she can be found absorbing an academic text with the same vigor as a sewing machine manual.
This well-rounded foundation and commitment to communication inspires Megan to meet her work with a strong level of insight and linguistic precision. Whether teaching English in a city of over ten million or fishing lobster in the winds of St. John bay, Megan brings her curiosity and sense of humour with her when navigating unfamiliar terrain.
Megan is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland and the National Theatre School of Canada. She is co-founder of Poverty Cove Theatre Company in St. John's, Newfoundland and an active member of the local arts community. Megan has written extensively for the stage, print, radio, film and television.
